Bio
nIGHTtIMEsCHOOLbUs is the collaborative project based out of Denver between rapper/producer otem rellik and multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Robin Walker. Otem's ear for texture and busted drums samples provides a solid foundation for the classically trained walker to create beautifully eerie melodies on a variety of instruments. With mostly introspective lyricism, their content ranges from poignant observations of bro culture, to exceedingly dark monster stories for children. Part hip hop, part dream pop, on stage the two reproduce their recorded martial nested within a womb of noise and distorted drums. Half improvisation, half backing loops, nIGHTtIMEsCHOOLbUs plays a different set for every show. Otem rellik has shared the stage with acts such as Casiotone for the Painfully Alone, Candy Claws, Sole, and Astronautslis. He has also toured around the US as well as Europe and Canada. Robin Walker has toured and played with a variety of bands across the US.
